A BIG WARM WELCOME.....
If you have been into our office recently you're sure to notice some new faces.
We pride ourselves in the quality of people who make their home with us.
That being said, we would like to welcome and introduce our newest Front
Desk Staff member Joan Zook........
"Hi my name is Joan Zook and I'm so excited to be working with the Southwest
Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics team. I am a Colorado native growing up in
Colorado Springs. I attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs where
I majored in Fine Arts History. A new job in art publishing brought me to Denver.
I met my husband Ed while we were teammates in a bowling league at Celebrity Sports.
We have two two children, Brian who is attending Colorado School of Mines and Rachel,
a senior at Heritage High School. Rachel is a former patient of Dr. Urbaniak.
My hobbies include scrapbooking, playing tennis and anything Disney!

Toothy Tidbits
Toothpaste Tidbits......
Some early history on dentifrices
We can thank the Greeks and Romans for pizza, baklava and....TOOTHPASTE! Ancient Greeks and Romans added crushed oyster shells to powders and pastes and used them as toothpaste. Good thing they didn't take it to the next level and combine their love for pizza flavor with the paste....yuck!
